Featured Pets of the Week – Missy and Cookie

missydogMeet Missy, a warm-hearted and mellow 5 year old hound mix looking for her new forever family. Like so many of our dogs, she came from a situation where she was mistreated. Missy is affectionate, gentle, and loves other dogs and cats. She is great with kids, but has a shy streak when it comes to men, so will need a little patience in that area. Her favorite thing in the whole world is water and she is an excellent swimmer. Missy loves to have conversations and has the cutest head tilt when she listens to you. She knows some commands, is smart, and just an all-around happy dog. Do you have a place in your family for this sweet girl? Please give us a call for more information on darling Missy. 684-1475

cookie2This sweet face belongs to Cookie, a wonderful 7 year old boy who is looking for his new forever family. Cookie came in with his friend Blackie after their owner passed away. Cookie was extremely scared and took a long time to feel safe here. He’s finally coming out of his shell and feeling comfortable with us. Cookie loves being pet and has an instant purr. He is in a room with other cats and enjoys their company, but would do best in a home without dogs and young children. Cookie is a sensitive and gentle soul who would make a wonderful and loving companion. Do you have a spot in your home and heart for a sweet boy like Cookie? Please call us for more information. Suggested Adoption Donation: $25.00

About colvillevalleyanimalsanctuary

The Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, neglected, and otherwise homeless companion animals. We provide both crisis and long-term sheltering, medical care, fostering, and adoption services - all with the goal of placing our animals permanently in safe and loving homes. We spay and neuter all of the animals in our care and actively promote, through financial donations and community support, the effort to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Stevens County. By example and through education, we promote and advance the values of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
