Left to right: Sue, Pat and Stormy. Coming in bright and early on Christmas morning to care for the animals.

At a little after 8 am on Christmas Morning, who should appear but 4 of Santa’s Helpers. Where else but at CVAS would you find volunteers that would give up the early morning coffee and opening presents under the tree to come feed, clean and give Christmas loves to the cats and dogs.

This is Linda, another little Santa’s Helper helping to get the kitties all cleaned and fed and giving Christmas lovings

As always Nancy was there with a smile on her face.

We even saw Bob (our president) checking out the cat cages that had been delivered. I think he is trying to figure out how many warm bodies it is going to take to move them off the trailer and into the puppy cabin.

Bob our president, on Christmas morning checking out some cat kennels that were just delivered…..Hmmm…how to get them into the puppy cabin? Those are heavier than they look!

All in all, it was a Very Merry Christmas.

We wish you and yours a very Merry Holiday Season!

About colvillevalleyanimalsanctuary

The Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of abandoned, neglected, and otherwise homeless companion animals. We provide both crisis and long-term sheltering, medical care, fostering, and adoption services - all with the goal of placing our animals permanently in safe and loving homes. We spay and neuter all of the animals in our care and actively promote, through financial donations and community support, the effort to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Stevens County. By example and through education, we promote and advance the values of responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.
